AHA Training - Tri-County EMS is a Community Training Center for the American Heart Association. For more information contact us at 795-2880. Our training center offers courses that lead to certification in:

  • CPR - cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • AED Training - automatic external defibrillation
  • First Aid - adult and pediatric
  • ACLS - advanced cardiac life support
  • PALS - pediatric advanced life support
  • Instructor Courses
  • Skills checks for online AHA courses

  • Did you know that the American Heart Association offers CPR education in a convenient on-line "blended format"?
  • Do you need to renew your Healthcare Provider CPR Card?
  • Do you need Heartsaver CPR/AED or First-Aid for your employment?

This means you take Part 1 of the program on your computer and then come to our office for Part 2 - the skills practice and certification evaluation. Appointments are scheduled for your convenience and take about 45 minutes to one hour.

The website is www.onlineaha.org   This is the official site of the American Heart Association Blended Learning Programs.

  • If you are a Healthcare Professional, the course you need is Heartcode.
  • If you are a lay-rescuer and need workplace training in CPR and AED use, the course you want is Heartsaver CPR/AED.
  • If you only need First-Aid Training this is also available in a blended format.
  • You can also take a combined Heartsaver CPR/AED/First-Aid Course.

The American Heart Association's on-line programs are excellent. Don't be fooled by imitations! Go to www.onlineAHA.org

Once you complete Part 1 and print out your AHA certificate, call our office at 795-2880 and we will arrange an appointment with you for Part 2 - the skills practice and evaluation. We will spend time with you reviewing the skills and practicing to increase your confidence, answer your questions, and assure your skills meet the requirements for certification. The cost of the skills appointment is $35.00. Once you have completed both Parts  1 and 2, we will issue you an AHA certification card, with a two year recommended renewal date. This blended learning method is very popular and effective for both renewal and new learning.

If you have questions, give our office a call at 207 795-2880. If you would prefer a face to face program, give us a call and we will find an instructor for you.

If your schedule is tight - blended learning is an excellent option. Call us at 207 795-2880 and find out more today.
